The Boston Maya Users Group‘s next meeting is June 9th at 7pm at the Microsoft N.E.R.D. Center in Cambridge Mass.
Raf Anzovin, creator of The Setup Machine, will be giving a talk on a relatively unusual rigging technique that turns some of the most basic concepts of CG animation on their heads. “Broken” rigging eschews hierarchies and the rigidity of both FK and IK for freeform manipulation of a character.
