Here is some feedback from students and audience members.
Chad was enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable. I feel confident to figure out rigging with the base of knowledge gained in this workshop and the tutorials he provided.
Chad knew his stuff, he seemed have a very good grasp on python programming and the specifics and nuances of Maya python coding.
Chad was very gracious with sharing his knowledge, and was able to challenge me with a little bonus rigging concept that really blew my mind!
Chad was very knowledgeable and the way he described everything was perfect. I learn things just by listening to how he explains things in context, vs. just following directions or steps.
Thanks, Chad, for everything. I appreciated how approachable you were in the video sessions. You’ve got a great teaching style, and I really benefited from it.
Chad far exceeded my expectations for this class.
… A professional presentation with easy to understand examples and samples and slides with a sense of humor. I learned a few new tricks and was reminded of some tips previously learned and since forgotten. As an Animation Artist I could appreciated his non-technical approach to teaching and yet it was obvious he know how to get ‘geeky’ when need be. It would be great to study further with Chad and I’ll be saving my pennies for just that future goal. Thank you Chad!
An excellent presentation on some of the common pitfalls of the Maya rigging workflow. Great tips like properly orienting joints and reducing the chances of gimbal lock were excellent takeaways.
Very informative and interesting. It was great how he simplified the concepts for people that are not as adept in Maya.
